Golden Triangle Ceramics Trail: The Central Edition Itinerary
A Unique Blend of Culture, Art, and Heritage
This experiential tour is an opportunity to dive deep into India’s rich ceramics culture, from terracotta to stoneware. Along the way, soak in the country’s fascinating traditions, art, crafts, cuisine, history, and breathtaking architecture.
Discover Delhi – The Dynamic Capital
Your journey starts in Delhi, where we’ll set the stage for an exciting adventure ahead. Meet fellow artists, explore an inspiring art center, and visit local studio potters (based on availability). If time allows, we’ll venture to a traditional potters’ village on the city’s outskirts for a closer look at age-old pottery techniques.
Marvel at the Taj Mahal in Agra
Next, we travel to Agra to witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the Taj Mahal, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Be captivated by its mesmerizing white marble façade, intricate stonework, and breathtaking architecture.
Jaipur – The Pink City & A Hub of Creativity
From Agra, we move on to Jaipur, where you’ll have the chance to interact with successful studio potters who have turned their passion into thriving businesses. We may also visit a studio set in a serene farm setting for an exciting Obvara or Raku firing session. But that’s not all—immerse yourself in Jaipur’s artistic traditions with hands-on block printing workshops and an interactive session on the city’s world-famous blue pottery.
Jaipur is a feast for the senses! Take in iconic landmarks like Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal, explore bustling bazaars, and shop for exquisite textiles, paintings, sculptures, and carvings—the perfect souvenirs for yourself and loved ones back home!
Into the Heart of India – Khajuraho & Panna Wildlife Reserve
With a mind full of inspiration, we venture into India’s heartland—Khajuraho, home to some of the country’s most ancient and architecturally stunning temples. As part of the experience, we embark on an exhilarating safari in the Panna Wildlife Reserve—an unmissable, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see wild animals and exotic birds in their natural habitat!
A Serene Artist Retreat
For the final leg of our journey, we head to a tranquil village where you will be surrounded by artists, art, and larger-than-life sculptures. Here, we’ll spend a few enriching days at a unique artist retreat that welcomes creatives from around the world. Work in a beautifully equipped ceramics studio, engage in hands-on workshops (tailored depending on the size and requirements of the group), and explore the surrounding area at your own pace. Whether you’re creating, learning, or simply soaking in the serene atmosphere, this experience will leave you inspired.
Final Stop – Back to Delhi
Before we say our goodbyes, we return to Delhi for some last-minute shopping and sightseeing. There is an opportunity to attend Ceramics Fest 2025, which is an annual potters market. As the journey comes to an end, you’ll leave not only with new friendships and fresh ideas for your artistic practice but also with unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!
