I am your host, guide and advisor, Anita Bora. I began travelling nearly two decades ago and built one of the earliest blogs in the country focused on travel. I’ve been lucky to have explored much of the country, finding some amazing and off-the-beaten-path experiences.

I am based in Vancouver and am a communications professional and I pursue my art, teach at a local studio and participate in local markets. I am part of the local Potters Guild of BC. Before this, I lived in the Bay Area, California where I spent many years with Higher Fire Studios in San Jose.

This tour will give you a glimpse of local arts, ceramics and other crafts, as you travel through culturally rich and diverse regions of the country. There is also time to take in some of the beautiful sights and sounds each city has to offer and has been designed with all artists in mind. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone with decades of experience, I’m sure you’ll have an unforgettable experience as you traverse the trail. In the North edition, you’ll end the trip at one of the country’s oldest studios in the foothills of the Himalayas. In the Central edition, you’ll spend a few idyllic and serene days at an artist studio in the heart of the country.

I believe that you’ll have the most amazing time where you get to encounter myriad aspects of this vast country. Just bring along your sense of curiosity, creativity and adventure! You will travel with fellow artists and I hope you’ll come away with new perspectives, energy and enthusiasm which you can take back to your practice and life in general.
